I’ve had one of my Fae oracle cards sitting on my bedside table for a while now, and while my partner was fiddling around with the television in our room, I felt like doing a quick three card spread. Often this is refered to as “past, present and future” but I’ve found it’s often three things regarding the question at hand, which may all be in the past, all in the present, or in this case, all in the future.

Before I post what cards came up, I’ll give you an update on my situation. I’m getting married in eight months. I’m clucky as anything; and, without a shadow of a doubt, I know my first child will be a boy. A few weeks ago I had a dream where I gave birth to a beautiful boy. In the dream, the midwife mentioned that it was July 2012. I worked this out to be conception of our honeymoon towards mid/late October of this year. So now I will post my cards.

You can read in my normal blog, Don’t put this in the fridge, what’s been happening on the wedding front. Regarding the pregnancy, I’ve been told that it may be rocky. I hope it’s nothing to do with my size, but I think it’s more towards the fact that I carry Group B streptococcus (Strep B) which is a common bacteria living in my womb, and untreated during labour can possibly be passed onto the child and in turn cause harm.

The ‘Son’ card cements in my mind that we will be having a boy. I believe that his spirit has already chosen me to be his mother, it’s just a matter of him being born into the world. Many may believe I’m crazy for thinking that, but it’s an inner knowing. I look forward to welcoming our son into our family.
