Day the twenty-eighth: Something you wish you knew about this deity but don’t currently.

I would love to begin learning about his Wild Hunt, which is such a huge part of who he is. What he did, how he did it, the history behind all of it. The basis of my knowledge comes from Eric Fitch’s “In Search of Herne the Hunter” which is the book I keep referring back to. When I’m ready I will ask Herne about it, but I don’t think I’m prepared for what it will entail as yet.

    I can’t blame you there. While I’m not a follower of Herne myself, I am tight with Pan and Cernunnos, and what I can say is that it’s likely to be super intense. I’d love to know more about that myself. Post what you find out!
